Meet the owners: Julia and Dylan had a little retirement dream of moving to bend and running a little coffee cart when the kids were grown and the house was paid off, but life changes and why not start now? Julia has worked at Starbucks for the last 5 1/2 years as a supervisor and became a barista champion, and coffee master through Starbucks. She’s learned a lot about coffee and its origins and loves how coffee and food brings people together. Before Starbucks she worked as a catering manager for 7 years and has been in the food industry since she was 17. She loves baking and is excited to finally be able to bake her own products! She will be the main cart operator! Dylan has been in the tech Industry for most of his adult life working his way up in the Apple industry and being a certified Apple technician trainer, training helicopter pilots at Columbia helicopters, and spent the last 5 1/2 years at NWEA working with schools and testing solutions. He’s moved on to bigger and better things with Elotouch Solutions and we are excited to see where this career takes him. Dylan’s love for coffee started about 2 years ago when he started ordering subscription coffee from our favorite company (don’t worry you’ll get to taste those tasty beans) and finding his favorite way to brew via aero press! With his hand grinder and aero press my morning coffee has never tasted better. In January of this year Dylan started roasting his own coffee and wow the first try was amazing and we really started talking about how cool it would be to make a coffee cart… and well here we are!
